Forst - Midiforst - ForstM Forestry Line: The MIDIFOREST, which has led the market ever since it's introduction brings, to the user performance far in excess of that expected of such a compact machine. The MIDIFORST is designed for tractors up to 110hp. For those who wish to use more power the double drive, MIDIFORST dt. is available, with a max power of 140 hp The optional centrifugal clutch is recommended for all tractors with hydraulic engagement of the p.t.o. and for the fixed hammer rotor.  Both machines will cut and mulch up to 20 - 25 cm diameter material according to conditions and are available in working widths from 125 - 250 cm.

The MIDIFORST can be used for maintenance of forest trials, derelict areas, areas under powerines, fire breaks and for general clearing work prior to development for agricultural & commercial purposes, or the mulching of slash. Rotor options include swinging or fixed hammers. Fixed hammers are tungsten carbide tipped, which are very effective for larger material and stumps. They should not be used in stony conditions.

MULCHING MOWERS FOR EXCAVATORS

MINICUTTER: This mower is the ideal for mini-excavators to cut grass and reeds in areas that are difficult to access. Pressure: 200 bar; oil flow: min 8 max 20 l/min. H-SMW: The head is ideal to be attached to small excavators to maintain small areas with difficult access. Mulches grass and branches up to 5 cm [2inches] in diameter. Pressure: 250 bar; oil flow: min 48 max 100 l/min. Suitable for excavators from 3 to 5 tons. Interface plate. Hydraulic transmission with choice of other types of motor. Adjustable rear hood to adjust the degree of mulching. Adjustable rear roller to adjust the cutting height. Rotor with hammers. H-SMO-B: Strong and universal machine to be mounted on wheeled or tracked excavators for the maintenance of overgrown areas and slopes. Mulches grass and wood up to 7cm [3inch] in diameter or, equipped with forestry rotor, up to 12 cm [5 inch] in diameter. Pressure: 250 bar; oil flow: min 48 max 100 l/min. Suitable for excavators from 5 to 13 tons. Interface plate. Hydraulic transmission with choice of different types of motor. Adjustable rear hood to adjust the degree of mulching. Adjustable cutting height with full full width rear roller. Rotor with hammers. BMS: A tough machine to be mounted on the dipper arm of an excavator. Ideal for clearing riverbanks, forests and any other area difficult of access. Mulches stumps and plants up to 20 cm (8 inches) in diameter. Pressure: 250 bar; oil flow: min 96 or 144 i/min max 250 l/min, depending on the cutting width. Suitable for excavators from 13 to 30 tons. Interface plate. Hydraulic transmission, with choice of different types of motor. Hydraulically operated rear hood. Adjustable skids.
