Protective helmet, arborist New!
Similar model as the orange helmet, but with a shorter visor. Increased field of vision and equipped with hearing protection, mesh visor and chin strap. Tested and approved according to EN 397.
Complete with visor,hearing protectors and neck guard.Replaceable lining and push-out air vents.Resistant to UV light. Visor gives good visibility and good water run-off,it can also be bought separately from the visor holder.Hearing protectors can be adjusted ver-tically and sideways,and they ensure good noise exclusion despite low pressure.The helmet is tested and approved of
according to EN 397.It also complies with requirements for rigidity,molten metal and low temperature (30 °C). Hearing protectors tested and approved to PrEN 352-3.Visor tested and approved to PrEN 1731.

Impact strength:
The helmet must withstand impact by a 5 kg weight.The weight is dropped from a height of 1 metre and the force transmitted through the helmet must not exceed 5kN.
Penetration test:
A pointed metal object with a weight of 3 kg is dropped onto the helmet from a height of 1 m.The point must not penetrate far enough through the helmet to make contact with the head.
Working life:Before the helmet undergoes any other tests it is ”artificially ” aged until about 3 years old.This is done by cooling, spraying with water,heating and irradiating with a Xenon lamp to replicate the effects of ultraviolet radiation.We can therefore
guarantee that the helmet can be used for at least 3 years after removal from its packaging.
Height adjustment:
The helmet lining must permit adjustment of height at front and back.
Temperature:
The helmet and lining must not begin to burn or melt when exposed to a naked flame for 20 seconds.In addition to the above there are a number of voluntary tests which our helmet has passed:
Low temperatures:
(-10,-20,-30 C)Our helmet meets the highest class,-30 C. Lateral stability:The helmet is subjected to a lateral pressure of 43 kg.Deformation must not exceed 40 mm.The test is then repeated as above with a reduced pressure of 3 kg.
Deformation must not exceed 15 mm this time.
