Lamberhurst Engineering Limited, the U.K distributor of Ferrari Tractors, Pellenc electric pruners, Seppi mulchers & the full range of Caroni mowers have been confirmed as the UK distributor of the Chaptrack 175 from French manufacturers Eliatis.
Eliatis have been leaders in the maintenance and cleaning of railways and woodlands since 1994.
The Chaptrac 175 is a 175HP tractor with four equal size wheels. It was made to be simple to use and simple to maintain. The low centre of gravity and the control post ergonomics allow the operator to feel and be secure at all times during difficult situations.
The machines can be used for all forestry activities, road works and lifting heavy objects. Many refer to the Chaptrack as a multi-purpose machine where a multitude of attachments can be fitted.
Herve Berlioz of Eliatis said: "We first met Lamberhurst Engineering during a French exhibition in June 2006 and we started to discuss the possibilities of our two companies working together. Our tractor was of interest because it was a good complement to their range of mulching machines and also brings a new concept of machine to the U.K market."
Berlioz added that Eliatis is delighted to be working with a British company who place great emphasis on excellence at all stages, from parts supply and technical assistance through to machinery sales.
